작가소개

디자이너 김동현은 뮌헨을 베이스로 작업을 하고 있다. 그의 디자인 유닛 '소트 프로그레스'는 디자인과
그 과정을 실험적인 관점을 통해 보여주고자 한다.
디자인의 관습적인 면이 아닌, 새로운 면들을 발견하기 위한 과정, 실행, 그리고 결과를 지속해서 탐구해오고 있다.

최현우는 서울을 베이스로 활동하는 산업 디자이너이며, 2016년부터 운영하는 AWE 디자인 스튜디오의 파운더이다.
그는 소재와 기술에 대한 깊이 있는 이해와 기준을 바탕으로 넓고 다양한 범주의 제품 생산을 경험해왔다.
그뿐만 아니라 고유의 유의미한 디자인을 만들어 내기 위해 그 경험을 브랜드 전략과 적절히 융합시키려는 노력을 꾸준히 해오고 있다.



Designer Donghyun Kim is working in Munich, Germany. His design unit ‘Thought Progress’ has been presenting its processes and designs
through the experimental approach. He has been exploring process, practice, as well as the consequence of design, in order to find out
unconventional aspects.

Hyunwoo Choi is an industrial designer and the founder of AWE design studio since 2016 based in Seoul, Korea. He has a wide range of
experiences in product manufacturing based on an in-depth understanding and higher standards of materials and techniques. Furthermore,
he strives to fuse them with brand strategy to create its own meaningful designs.

작품설명

E series 1.5 는 그 첫 번째 시리즈로부터 한 단계 진화된 알루미늄 데스크 오거나이저 세트이다.
새로운 시리즈는 첫 번째와 동일한 기본개념을 유지하고 있는데, 그것은 아치, 파사드, 지붕의 형태, 기둥 등과 같은
고전과 현대 건축물의 특정 요소들을 캡처하여 일상의 데스크톱 제품으로 옮겨놓은 것이다.

E series 1.5 는 케이블 오거나이저, 연필꽂이, 카드 꽃이, 그리고 트레이로 구성되어 있으며 고사양의
알루미늄 덩어리를 CNC 머신으로 가공하여 아노다이징으로 마감하였다.



E Series 1.5 is a set of aluminum desk organizers that evolved from its first series.
It keeps the fundamental concept that comes from the elements of classic and modern architecture
such as arch, façade, shape of the roof, pillar, with these specific elements have captured and translated into everyday desktop products.

E Series 1.5 consists of the cable organizer, pen classifier, card stand, and tray.
The series is made with high-grade solid aluminum with a CNC machine process and finished by anodizing.
