Afterimage of the Beginning 07-244 / Miniature
The "Afterimage of the Beginning 07-244 (Miniature)" is an organic furniture that seeks to balance tension between
"lightness and heaviness" and "roughness and softness" and maximize the
"natural beauty of stones" and the "properties of wood” by embodying not only the practical world but also the essence
of the secretive Korean spirit.
The "balanced geometric structure" in this work awakens the spiritual power of each natural material,
and as elements that closely combine nature's spirit with culture's formative sensibility are added to the work,
the structure further exhibits special power that connects past memories with the future.
His works portray simplicity beyond the times and styles, meeting with the imagination
of the public and directing them to the world of introspection through contemplation and meditation.
